Hot 97 to Debut Jay-Z's D.O.A.

Word on the street net is that Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex will be dropping the world premiere of the lead single to Jay-Z's 'Blueprint 3' at 9pm EST tonight.

The song, 'D.O.A.,' or 'Death Of Auto-Tune,' as Kanye West described it in a recent interview, was produced by No ID and Kanye, and will allegedly be leaked this weekend.

While Jay's upcoming album was initially said to feature a lot of songs that utilized the voice-altering technology, Jay recently removed all Auto-Tune from BP3, recording 'D.O.A.' instead. Apparently, he's sick of the trend.

"We actually removed all the songs with auto-tune off of his album to make the point that this is an anti-auto-Tune album, even though I released an album that has all Auto-Tune," Kanye told MTV.

Check back later this weekend to hear the song in full!

thanks for that Jay, that fad was becoming way to used. Kanye you keep it hip hop dressed in colors and tight cloths. Thats as much hip hop as the pseudo thug image. Thugs don't run hip hop even if they think they do, look hard all you want but we will look good

Listen!! Jay-Z,is preserving our culture by being creative with the music, clothes, and the business aspects of this billion dollar industry. Jay did this song not for the sale of mp3's or itunes, but for us fans who appreciate the authenticity of the culture. Jay has earned the respect by many in the business for being true to what he believes in and not because everyone else is doing it. Listen to the lyrics and and absorb the content of the message. Don't shoot the messenger. Finally, I can hear a song that was made for hip-hop radio and not just for hip-pop radio. Jay-Z is HIP-HOP not Hip-POP!
