Beleaguered songstress Lauryn Hill has canceled all upcoming European tour dates, due to undisclosed health reasons, according to reports.Hill was scheduled to headline the Stockholm Jazz Festivalon July 18th, and perform shows in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Poland, Greece.
A spokesperson for the Stockholm Jazz Festival, Lisa Tolonen, made a statement saying that Hill's agent informed the festival on Tuesday, June 9th, that the singer would be unable to perform due to health reasons, but did not give further information regarding her condition.
The performance would have been L-Boogie's (that's Ms. Hill, to you) biggest in years, as she's been off the radar for several years, minus a few appearances to promote The Fugees rumored reunion album that never saw the light of day.
"We are very disappointed and regret the situation that has arised, but we can promise that we'll do anything possible to find a worthy substitute," Gunnar Lagerman, the promotor of Stockholm Jazz Fest, said in a statement.
