Kelis Says She's Broke, Wants Nas to Cough Up Dough

According to TMZ, singer, and rapper Nas' soon-to-be ex-wife, Kelis claims she is flat broke and needs her hubby to cough up some funds. "I have run out of money," the pregnant singer claims.

Kelis recently filed legal papers requesting Nas pay spousal support, child support and pregnancy-related expenses, including her medical bills.

The 'Milkshake' singer wants $3,500 for a baby nurse after the child's birth, and $20,000 baby supplies, including a stroller, crib, etc.

"My survival is based on [Nas'] will at this time. If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid," Kelis said.

The singer filed for divorce from her rap star husband in April. The couple began dating in 2003 and wed in a private ceremony in 2005.

Kelis is due to give birth to the couple's first child together any day now.

Kelis had a sex tape while she was with nas and sources say that nas is a man whore, even though we have no evidence of that but yet we do have evidence of kelis and her sex tape ..............
Just the Facts people thats all we have to go on. some of you are taking this to personal as if it is you in either one of there shoes. we have no idea what went on during there life together all we can do is assume and you know what that leads to.

Getting back to the actual news story. This is a divorce case, pure and simple. She will be entitled to child support based upon the income. She may not be entitled to alimony as they've had a short marriage and she's young enough to work or get further training for a job.
note to Aurora : while we seem to have touched a raw nerve with your personal circumstances, read most of these comments. Look how whitey hates us for our illegitimate children and reliance on taxpayer money for food, housing and medical care, while continuing to make the situation WORSE by having more children. The worst thing to happen to us was President Johnson's "Great Society". It gave lots of sisters an excuse not to expect anything from our men. so the men didn't expect anything from themselves, and we have such beautiful communities today in Newark, East St. Louis etc. I don't see the Chinese or Italins or Jews having the same problems with illegitiacy as we do. Remember: Obama was raised by his white mama after daddy left. No contact.

man who givs a s**t just another sad getto story when white ppl are losing their jobs thanks to nobama she meets all the qualifactions to get welfare food satmps and medicare
that just what happens when someone gets some real money and doesent know how to handle it
then again when all the real tax paying americans are without a job their wont be any money left for her and her baby nigglet

Then answer this, how come it takes ONE to have an abortion???

Then the man has ZERO sayso, nuthin, nada, zip.

He can go bang his head against a wall as far as the law is concerned, he has NO sayso whatsoever and that's married or not.

Yet when it comes to actually paying for his precious unborn life for the next 18 years, most unmarried men choose to abandon their responsibilities and the burden falls upon the State (read: taxpayers.) The day we can get every child supported by its parents (both parents) is the day we will have no more need for abortion or welfare, hmmm?

The day the child support enforcement start issuing debit card for these so called all american moms to see where the money is really spend// that will settle a lot of baby mom issues,, they claim my baby need this and that then they go buy some damn hair -- stupid
