R&B diva Mariah Carey doesn't need Nick Cannon to fight her battles when it comes to Eminem -- she'll do it herself. The 39-year-old recently released the song 'Obsessed' about a "delusional" acquaintance who won't leave her alone. Sound familiar? Last month Em dropped 'his comeback album 'Relapse,' which featured 'Bagpipes over Baghdad,' a track in which he clearly calls Carey out, even pondering why their fling didn't last. If the rumors are true, Carey's 'Obsessed' makes the rapper look as though he imagined the alleged "fling."
"I was like,'why are you so obsessed with me?'" Carey asks as the song begins. From there the lyrics run suspiciously close to her alleged encounter with Em. "All up in the blogs/ Say we met at the bar/When I don't even know who you are/Say we up in your house/Sayin' I'm up in your car/ But you in LA, I'm out with Jermaine."
Then things get even more interesting. "I'm up in the A you're so so lame/and no one here even mentions your name/It must be the weed, it must be the E/cuz you be poppin', hood, you get it poppin.'" (Em has talked about his drug addiction to prescription pills resulting in two stints in rehab.)
As the hook drifts in and out, Carey throws a little reverb on her voice as she continues to confront her stalker. "Ooh boy why you so obsessed with me?/Boy I want to know- lyin' that you're sexin' me/when everybody knows it's clear that you're upset with me."
Carey never publicly addressed Em's lyrics in 'Bagpipes over Baghdad' in which he threatened her husband and stated that he "wanted her back." Cannon did not find the song the least bit entertaining and took to his blog to threaten Em with, of all things, a rap battle.
'Obsessed' is currently streaming on Carey's website. The songstress is set to release her latest album 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' later this year.

Isn't this girls fifteen minutes of fame over. She was awful back in the 90's and nothing has changed oh except her musical title. She went from pop diva to r&b diva. What is that supposed to make her look better to the public like she's really a black artist when all she ever tried to do was pretend she is white. Well half white.

Em has followed the great white tradition that most white artist take to get famous. Take black music, style, art, fashion then sanitize, bleach and dillute enough so that white kids want it and their parents are ok with them having it. Move the beat to the front so those that cant dance can fake it enough and then make your millions. From Pat Boone to Elvis, from the Osmonds to New Kids on the Block. The list goes on and on. and we dont even have to bring up Vanilla Ice now do we??

She needs to look into her own home first cause Nick has stalked her persay for five years. For if he wasn't how else do you explain he knew everything about this woman. And hes openly admitted that hes had a mad crush on her for five years. And even said this while involved with some beautiful black women. She just needs to come clean and say I just wanted some thug love and Em was it at the time. No shame in that just be woman enough to admit to it is all I say. Her "boy" husband is proof that if you compliment someone enough they soon give you the attention you want and crave. And he has said he dedicates himself to her daily. He needs to for thanks to her hes now hosting the new season of Americas Got Talent. Think about if he had married either of those other two he was engaged to they be like Nick who. And she also saw herself as soon to be 39 and alone. And Luis let her go so she was all by herself. And can you say desperate that was her.
