R&B newcomer Jeremih's performance at an Atlanta nightclub started out as an intimate affair but ended with three people being stabbed. The event, which took place early Thursday morning at Atlanta's popular Luckie Lounge, featured performances and appearances by Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Young Jeezy, and Estelle. According to reports, at approximately 2:30 am a fight broke out between T.I. affiliate DJ Drama, and Jeezy's crew, not long after Jeremih took the stage. The scuffle resulted in one person, believed to be Jeezy's bodyguard, getting stabbed in the face several times while two others were stabbed in the arms. The victims were later transported to Grady Memorial Hospital.
It was previously reported that Jeezy was one of the victims, but he has since cleared up such rumors. "We [were] at the bar," Jeezy said in an interview. "I know they said something broke out, but we [didn't] catch [any]thing. We got up out of the building and we left. You better quit listening to them TMZ-*ss dudes! Everybody we left with was good."
Eyewitnesses said that upwards of 10 people were arrested at the scene, but their identities have yet to be released.
The violence is believed to have stemmed from a November 30 altercation between Jeezy's CTE (Corporate Thug Entertainment) crew and members of DJ Drama's crew.
Jeremih who was in town promoting his single 'Birthday Sex.' His self-titled debut hits stores June 30.

"Rap artist" is an oxymoron, unless, of course, the "rap artist" is a moron who takes a lot of oxycontin. Musician????? You've got to be joking!!!!

And what kind of music do you listen to bubbles or gort, g'day eh??? That boring ass classical or that country mess that talks about heartbreak and ho's and alcoholism, etc????? The same music that makes 'people' go home and kill their whole family and themselves when times get a little rough. It's survival of the fittest, and atleast we know who the survivors are and who is just buying time.

As soon as I read "three stabbed at concert" I knew it was a rap concert. Call me what you want, I'm right.

He was in town to promote his new single entitled "Birthday Sex" - he is obviously such an upstanding and wholesome member of society that he couldn't possibly be implicated in this mess. He was obvioulsy a "victim".

Just because he sings about a natural part of life, SEX, doesnt mean he is a bad person. If you're having sex ur a horrible person!! so stupid. Plus you obviously can't read and know nothing about R&B music and hip-hop music cause its not Jeremih (Birthday Sex)that this article is talking about being involved. Its Jeezy the RAPPERRRRRR. Ignorant people make me laugh.

Thanks! Loved your tongue in cheek answer.

For the love of God, stop calling rappers "musicians". Rhyming "dough" and "ho" in time to a beat that a deaf 4 year old could keep in time with is not musical. Every time they have one of these concerts where a bunch of wannabe gangsters take the stage to make borderline retarded rhymes about how to be pimps and crack dealers, they ought to just lock the doors and gas everyone in the frigging place, nevermind worry about 3 people getting stabbed. The only shame in that is that they survived...

Commonly I don't reply to such nonsensical comments, but Hip Hop artists are just as relevant to be called musicians as any other musicians are in other genres. Admittedly, we probably would be the most embarressing ones, always stabbing and fighting each other instead of celebrating not being in such a situation, but the people love it, it sells, but when it leaves the records and becomes real life murder, it ain't cool at that point. But rappers count, ok! They have made albums and songs just as serious and incredible as your most favorite albums. The artists listed here, Jeezy and T.I., have not accomplished this though...

I agree, they get me with the musician thing everytime. Seldom is it a musician. A musician is someone who plays a musical instrument. Why doesn't AOL just use the term rapper? Then I would know I wasn't interested and wouldn't click the link.
