Bow Wow Calls Out His Dad on Father's Day Via Twitter

Most people see Father's Day as a time to tell their dad how much they love and appreciate him. For rapper Bow Wow, it was a chance to put his absentee father on blast. The 22-year-old took to his Twitter page to express his thoughts on his absentee father.

"As bad as I wanna' say FU -- my pops, I'm not [going to] think negatively, " he wrote. "So happy pop's day to all [the] fathers out there. Mine is [probably] drunk [some where]."

This isn't the first time Bow has addressed his father's absence, last year he released the song 'Father's Day,' in which he chronicled their non-existent relationship. "It's too late homey, don't even bother," he rapped. "You know how much stress you done caused my mama/ Because you wasn't around it was so much drama/Think picking up a 40 gonna' solve your problems/Tried talking to you but that don't change much/Gave you some money but you f---ed that all up."

I think its GREAT Bow wow is open about his hurt re: his Dad. When dad abandons you with no love, it screws with your whole life...your whole outlook. It is "nice" to say he should forgive his Dad...but unrealistic. I had the same type of neglectful sperm donor. Abandoned our family when I was 3, took all the money with him and left a woman with 3 children she struggled to support and raise, and never looked back. I have half siblings Ive never met cause he kept producing and leaving other families too. DISGRACEFUL! And it follows me thru my life. How can you forgive when Dad doesnt even want to hear it...excuses and lies. BOW WOW...you keep getting it off your chest...it helps. And screw your dad. and screw my dad too. To hurt and snub your own child...
Shabby shabby men.

I don't know if Bow Wow (BW) is illegitimate or not (not judging). All I know is that women who have babies with men who are not their husbands, or berate their ex-husbands in front of their children, become angry, bitter women, and produce angry, bitter children. It doesn't matter if the adults can't get along. ALL CHILDREN NEED THEIR FATHERS! No matter how "hard" BW tries to act in his rap songs, he's hurt and angry because he doesn't have the family that he longs for (his Daddy). Sure, Bow Wow has a Stepdad, but he's crying out because he wants his real Dad to love him. I don't know why his mother and father broke up, or why his father is a drunk (BW's words), but I'm sure his Dad probably had family drama too. HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE. It's all they know how to do. It's a vicious cycle. BW should stop cussin' and twittering, and ask God to help him forgive his Dad. Pray that his Dad gets better, and hopefully mend their relationship before it's too late. If BW doesn't do this, he is destined to repeat the same mistake with his own children.

P.S. Even with all BW's money, Dad is still a drunk. Get to the root of the drinking, and you'll find your answer.
