First of all you're the only on comparing this cd to his other work. The rest of us are judging this on its on merit. Embrya didn't sound like Urban Hang Suite, and Now didn't sound like Embrya, etc, etc, etc. If you expect all the music to sound like the last cd put out then what's the point of buying anything new, just continue to listen to the old stuff. The rest of us expected something new from Maxwell and I believe that's what we got. He has grown and has had new life experiences which is what he was looking to do. And what does the hair have to do with the music. You're stuck in 1996, come on baby step into the 21 century and give this brother a fair chance will ya.
