'Fistful of Tears' Lyrics

Feel just like a weight has lifted
How can I repay you help me
Understand the currency, a fistful of tears I can afford
Fight of your life is not the cost time will reveal, yeah
All along that you're the one who's losing

CHORUS:
Cause I, I go insane, crazy sometimes
Trying to keep you from loosing your mind
Open your eyes, see what's in front of your face
Save me my fistful of tears

You can make it disappear girl

All you got to do is just, raise up, face up and stay up
All things will heal we'll feel it lifted and kissed from this curse
Don't you let it go, don't you let it go

CHORUS

We gon' fight the war, we gon' fight our fears
The only thing I want to throw is a fistful of tears
We gon' fight the war, we gon' fight our fears
The only thing I got to throw is a fistful of tears
We gon' fight the war, we gon' fight our fears
The only thing I want to throw is a fistful of tears

CHORUS

CHORUS

Crazy sometimes...

I agree with you! It really is about the lyrics and the band. I had to shelf Embrya, then pull it back out to really appreciate it. Sometimes I wonder which is better, Embrya or Urban Hang Suite.

I think the album has to grow on you. It really is better than now and it may be better than Embrya. Its hard to appreciate it until you hear it over and over again. I felt the same way about Embrya until I kept playing it. I'll admit it does not include a song that you will find yourself singing in your shower.

I think the bangers on this CD are : Love You, Fistfull of Tears, Playing Possum and Help Somebody. I could have done without Stop the World. This is a Lyrics album and you have to appreciate the band playing behind him, which is only appreciated the more you listen to the album. This really is his second best album. In addition, the fact that he is putting out two more albums over the next two years is also promising. Give it time and I'll think you'll agree this really was a banger album.
