UK Tabloid Stirs Up Old Rumors of Jay-Z's Mystery Child

Jay-Z may be living in holy matrimony with longtime love Beyonce, but if the two have a child, it won't be his first. According to reports, the 39-year-old mogul fathered a son back in 2001 with a model named Shanelle Scott. Although this isn't the first time this story has come up, a UK tabloid claims to have evidence legitimizing the assertion.

Jay apparently met Scott long before his relationship with Beyonce and broke up with her before the child was born. Scott and her son allegedly reside in Trinidad in a $2.5 million home purchased for her by Jay.

The Brooklyn born rapper's representative has long denied the claims noting that there is "no truth to these ridiculous rumors." However, his rep has refused to comment on the tabloid's latest allegation.

The boy is believed to be 7-years-old and comes to visit Jay whenever Smith is in New York for modeling gigs.

Since getting together in 2003, Jay and Beyonce rarely comment on their relationship. Their 2008 wedding was also kept under wraps. The ceremony, which took place in the rapper's New York City loft, was an intimate affair attended by the couple's close family and friends.

DNA test can clear this up fast. They probably already had one done and know the real deal. They just don't care what we think.

If this is true, indeed Jay-Z needs to be a man first and a father second. Beyonce' needs to support her husband in the mistake that he made. A lot of women accuse men of being the father. Jay-Z has plenty of money and can take a DNA test any day of the week. Now since this rumor is out, if it is not true he needs to come public and set the record straight. Likewise, if it is true, he should not deny his own flesh and blood.
The Lord sees Jay-Z. It is not about paying child support now. It's about taking responsibility for fathering a child and bringing him into the world. If Jay-Z does nothing, he deserves the wild rumors that are being told. So often men in power make these kind of mistakes and outright deny their seed. No fortune or fame is worth denying who belongs to you and who is carrying 23 of your chromosomes. Take it like a man. Watch who you lay down with. My mother always said "You can run your mouth, while I run my business." Hopefully, Jay-Z will run his business and acknowledge his child (if it is his) and raise him up in the fear of God. Finally, he has a lot of explaining to do to his child. Tell him the truth, so he is not hurt by a lot of crazy, messy grownups who could care less about the feelings of a little child. Wow! does anybody think about the feelings of children when they are running down and gossiping about their parents? They are the innocent victims of the rumors.

Why is it so important to talk about other people's business. Who cares how many children he has? None of us have a "heaven or hell" to put anybody in, so it's not our business what happens in another one's house.
