A GZA fan was stabbed in the lower back after a performance by the Wu-Tang member at Toronto's North By Northeast Festival on Sunday. The 25-year-old victim had reportedly gotten into an altercation with another concertgoer -- described as a 20-something Asian man wearing a blue baseball cap and jeans -- when the suspect allegedly threw something at his girlfriend. After chasing the suspect through the dense crowd, the man was stabbed, requiring emergency surgery at St. Michael's Hospital nearby.
Police did not verify any witnesses at press time, and have yet to comment on the incident. Fortunately, the victim is currently in stable condition.
