Fans of the King of Pop will get a chance to pay their final respects to the entertainer, at the Los Angeles Staples Center, Tuesday. AEG, the concert promoters behind Jackson's ill-fated 'This is It Tour,' announced that it will distribute 11,000 tickets to the event free of charge.Members of the media have been on a wild goose chase trying to pinpoint the exact location of the event. Earlier this week it was reported that the memorial would be held at Jackson's former home the Neverland Ranch. Located 130 miles outside of Los Angeles, the ranch has been filled with fans anticipating a public viewing of the pop icon's body.

Jackson's older brother, Jermaine, was interviewed from the sprawling estate Thursday. "He went too soon. I don't know how people are going to take this, but I wish it was me," Jermaine said. He went on to describe arriving at the hospital after hearing word of his brother's fatal cardiac arrest. "I wanted to see Michael, and I wanted to see my brother, and seeing him there lifeless and breathless was very emotional for me, but I held myself together because I know he's very much alive."
"His spirit is, and that was just a shell, but I kissed him on his forehead and I hugged him, and I touched him and I said, 'Michael, I'll never leave you. You'll never leave me.'" Jermaine also noted that he wants the 50-year-old to be buried at the ranch. However California law prohibits bodies to be buried at a personal residence.
Jackson sold 'Neverland Ranch' following his 2005 child molestation trial. He was acquitted of all charges and fled out of the public spotlight for a few years before re-emerging for his 'This Is It' tour, which was scheduled to kick-off July 13.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, an industrial suburb of Chicago. The son of African-American parents Joseph Walter "Joe" Jackson and Katherine Esther Scruse, he was the seventh of nine children. His siblings are Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Janet. Joseph Jackson was a steel mill employee who often performed in an R&B band called The Falcons with his brother Luther. Jackson was raised as a Jehovah's Witness by his devout mother. Joseph Jackson has an additional daughter named Joh Vonnie Jackson who is actually the youngest sibling of Michael Jackson. The family lived at 2300 Jackson St., near Roosevelt Park; Michael often reflected that he wanted to play with neighborhood children but was rarely allowed because of the incessant rehearsals demanded by his father.
Jackson had a notable impact on music and culture throughout the world. He broke down racial barriers, transformed the art of the music video and paved the way for modern pop music in his own country.
For much of his career, he had an "unparalleled" level of worldwide influence over the younger generation through his musical and humanitarian contributions. Jackson donated and raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his Heal the World Foundation, charity singles, and support of 39 charities.

On June 25, 2009, Jackson collapsed at his rented mansion at 100 North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles. Attempts at resuscitating him by his personal physician were unsuccessful. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics received a 911 call at 12:22 p.m. (PDT), arriving three minutes and seventeen seconds later at Jackson's location. He was reportedly not breathing and CPR was performed. Resuscitation efforts continued both en route to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, and for an hour further after arriving at approximately 1:13 p.m. (20:13 UTC). He was noted to have been in cardiac arrest by the paramedics who attended him at his house. Jackson was pronounced dead at approximately 2:26 p.m. local time (21:26 UTC). Rumors and news of Jackson's death broke web records, triggering a cyberspace traffic jam and creating severe traffic spikes to websites such as Google, Facebook, Twitter and Wikipedia. Vigils were held by members of the general public after the death.

Well, the tickets have been given out to the lucky few. I've been waiting to see if I was selected for this special event but it just wasn't in the cards.. Smile I have terminal cancer and maybe it just wasn't meant to be at this time. I'll see him probably soon then most of you anyway..
I was really disappointed to see how greedy people can be when it comes to celebrating the life of someone very special to all of us.
To obtain the privilege to attend his funeral and to see how people are so quick to get on ebay and try to make a profit. How sad to think, it's really all about the money after all.
May Michael Rest In Peace
God Bless the Family and Watch over them.

Thank You Angel for your kindness. I appreciate knowing that this was a set up for just the kind of things the human race is capable of. I will do my best to pray, as on the 4th, for the less fortunate and little ones who are not in positions of power to decide who does and does not get to publicly grieve and celebrate the Beautiful Spirit who came into our lives and will continue to show us how to LIVE. I just can't stop . . please say Hi and God Bless You.

I have to repent for the way I judged him based on media speculation. I didn't know him. We all have to lay off judging people based on media speculation and gossip. These are real human lives and the old saying "sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me" is a lie-words, the bible says "have life and death in them." If you are a Christian, you can not judge, Jesus taught us not to judge. We "ALL fall short of the glory of God." He, like all of us, was a flawed human being, trying his best. God is the only judge; if Michael placed his faith in Jesus, he was acquitted in the Heavenly court just as he was on earth but unlike on earth, no one in Heaven will be judging him. Thank God, he's free now- free indeed!
