Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Ne-Yo shocked fans last night when he began to cry while on stage during a concert in Manchester, UK. Apparently, the crooner had been onstage for about an hour and just completed his rendition of Michael Jackson's 'Off the Wall,' before calling it quits due to illness.
The seemingly confused crowd cheered -- and some booed -- as the singer wept onstage and promised that he would make it up to them at a later date. "Trust me when I say 'I'll be back," Ne-Yo promised. "I will be back."
Yeah and when he comes back he's going to charge them for another ticket. What about the people that paid to see a whole show? He should have completely pulled out, at least then people would get their money refunded.

hey Bongzilla - he WON'T charge for another ticket...since the reason for the show was himself getting ill, anyone holding a ticket to that show will be entitled to admission upon presentation of their ticket from this show. IF other fans weren't ticket holders at this show, they will have to purchase a ticket. That's how it works. Open mouth, insert foot.....

How would you suddenly know all these ticket details??? I think you are just spouting off and have no idea what you are talking about. Open mouth insert foot??? Hahaha!!! What he said was that he is coming back nothing about a show that would make up for this one. Don't get your panties all in a ruffle psycho, who really cares about this neyo guy anyway.

What if I was at the first show but then I'm out of town the day the 2nd show is scheduled? This is all just a big publicity stunt to get attention... and it looks like it worked.

hey at least give the man credit at least he showed up on stage and showed everyone the real side of him the side that aint afraid to break down in front of millions of fans and admit that he will be back. give the man some credit i know damn well if that was me up there bout ready to do that song i'd probably get emotional to especially since that person is deceased! and they wont recharge everyone that was there that night for an extra ticket and most policies are that they refund the money. at least he didnt make everyone show up and then not come out on stage at least he went out there did his thing and admitted he wasnt gonna be able to do it that night.

i think sometimes you have to put your bigboy pants on and suck it up, especially entertainers. i'm sure those people paid good money to see him. if he had to refund every ticket holder he would've stayed sick or not, that's what separate true entertainers from the wannabes.
So what if he left he said he would be back so get off the man's case. At least he showed up for his concert unlike another entertainer that left the crowd ass out waiting for him to arrive. He was sick and apologized give him a break.

Some people have the good sense to quit rather than pass out or worse on stage. Would you feel better if you saw him lying on the stage floor while the ambulance came to take him away? Get real. He's human. Be glad for the hour. He should have cancelled and stayed home until he got better. Quit your belly aching. Have some compassion.

At least he tried, so give him credit for that. Calling the whole thing off would have been taking the easy way out. He tried, he did his best, but was simply too ill to finish the show. So give him credit for trying his best. If he had called it off at the start, without even trying, then you would be slamming him for that. Some people just look for reasons to criticize. Sheesh!!!

How insensitive! If your body is giving you negative feed back then you have to listen. Whatever his condition is, not submitting to the internal "STOP" could later prove fatal to him. He needs rest so he can entertain another day. If its my money or my life, i'm going to choose the one that no replacable. Get some rest Ne-Yo, I love what you do, and I will catch you at the next show. Love a true fan and supporter :-)

Maybe he suffers from depression. Walk a mile in his shoes, why don't you?

He was crying because, as an entertainer and performer, the WORST thing that could happen is not finishing a show. Starting and not finishing is even worse than not going on at all. He was humiliated because he had to leave, and I can guarantee you that this wasn't like ... a cold or something. It had to be something stomach or intestinal related - hard to sing when you have things coming out of your body that belong in a toilet, ok?
Not just you, Kelly, but everyone who's hating on him ... give the man a break. I'm sure y'all stay at home when you're sick. It doesn't make him a wannabe - it makes him human !
