The Game Responds to 'Groupie' Comment, Calls Jay-Z 'Old'

His European tour and current troubles with the UK police aren't nearly enough to keep The Game off the trail of his nemesis-of-the-hour, Jay-Z. During a recent interview, Hova made a backhanded attempt to squash the beef, but also called Game a "groupie," for getting sucked into unnecessary drama. Well, apparently the West Coast MC missed that first part and went straight to work on the "groupie," comment.

In a phone interview with Virginia's 103 Jamz, the Compton rapper let loose on Hova, dubbing himself the messenger for those who were afraid to speak up before him. "This dude is real slick, real witty and I never hated on his legacy or his old music but this new, everything he putting out to date is just trash," he said. "We don't want no parts to it and I feel like a lot of people have been wanting to voice their opinions, but nobody has because as soon as I came out with the whole Jay-Z thing, everybody jumped on."

As per his rant, The Game's primary beef with Hova is his alleged bitterness toward the new generation of rappers, who will "replace" him because he is past his prime.

"Some people don't wanna get old...He just old and bitter and when anybody say my name in a rap, I'm gonna lock in," The Game said. "He just really needs to sit his old ass down somewhere and let the new n----s make money..."

If it wasn't already clear that there is no end to this feud in sight, The Game drove the point home, by announcing his wartime preparations. "If Jay responds with a song, it'll be on his album because he's a pretty smart dude, witty, and he knows it'll benefit him more to put it on The Blueprint," he said. "If and when he does, just be on the lookout for '400 Bars' ... I'ma really put my pen on the paper and really strike a match."
