As expected, Michael Jackson's birthday will be a major event this year. The late King of Pop, who died suddenly on June 25, would've celebrated his 51st birthday on August 29. In honor of MJ's b-day, rapper/producer Q-Tip presents "Long Live the King! A Birthday Celebration for Michael Jackson" at the Nokia Theater in Times Square. The hip-hop icon -- and part-time DJ -- will share the turntables with Mark Ronson and DJ Spinna. "Michael Jackson was a huge influence on my music and was an inspiration to me and so many others. I want to bring people together to celebrate the man, his music and his legacy that will undoubtedly live on forever!" Q-Tip said in a statement.
Tickets for the event will go on sale July 31.
