Bow Wow Becomes a Cash Money Millionaire

Rapper/actor Bow Wow is officially a member of Cash Money Records. The 22-year-old, who has been hinting to a "big surprise" for the last few weeks, singed to the label and broke the news via his Twitter page. "Drum roll please......," he wrote. "It's official Bow Wow is a Cash Money Millionaire. Shout to Stunna for believing in me and givin' me a chance. Shout out 2 Wayne for [letting] me walk on board and my YM family and Cash Money family. LBW/Cash Money/Young Money Bow Wow and Drake? Who [is going to] stop that trio!"

Earlier this year Bow announced that he would be retiring from music in order to further his acting career. He was also very public about his disdain for his former label Columbia Records, writing (on his Twitter page) that he wanted to be let out of his contract. He was released from the deal not long after the Twitter post, and asked his fans for help deciding which label to sign to. "How many ya'll think I should sign with atlantic records n get with T.I.?" He twittered. "Grand hustle homie! Mr kev liles hopefully ill see ya'll Tuesday."

This new deal follows the dismal sales of his previous album 'New Jack City Part II.' Debuting at No. 16 on the Billboard charts, the album sold only 34,000 units in its first week.
