Chamillionaire: There's a Method to Bill O'Reilly's Madness

Political commentator Bill O'Reilly has a growing list of rappers who he doesn't see eye to eye with, but Houston-bred MC Chamillionaire is providing some insight into why the TV host is so controversial. "I haven't actually run in to him," the rapper said in an interview.

"I don't get him man, I understand, I think there's a method to his madness and the crazy stuff that he says on 'Fox News.' They always say a lot of crazy stuff but I think it's a method behind their madness. They're doing it and they know what they're doing. But [when I made the 'Hip-Hop Police'] I felt it was only right. The time for someone to come up and speak on all that crazy stuff that was going on and now, we on to something different. Everyone knows the economy is messed up, instead of beating into people's heads, it's time to uplift and make people feel a little bit better about their situations 'cause everybody is doing bad right now."

The political pundit's most recent target is rapper Jay-Z. O'Reilly shared his thoughts on Jay's song 'Off That' in which he mentions the right-wing host. "This ain't black vs. white, my n----, we off that/Please tell Bill O'Reilly to fall back/Tell Rush Limbaugh/To get off my balls/It's 2010, not 1864," Jay raps.

Following the song's release O'Reilly sarcastically refereed to Jay as a "regular Otis Redding." Although a rather meek response, O'Reilly routinely takes issue with the hip-hop and African American community. He most notably verbally sparred with the Rev. Al Sharpton over calling pop icon Michael Jackson a "black icon." O'Reilly remarked that Jackson should not be considered a black icon because he bleached his skin and his behavior would never be tolerated "if he were a white guy."
