In providing the round-the-clock coverage of all things Jay-Z, we're happy to report that the Jigga man isn't that upset regarding the downloaded version of 'The Blueprint 3' that you may or may not have. At a press conference regarding his upcoming 9/11 benefit show at Madison Square Garden, he told MTV News that all of this leak business isn't that much of a surprise. "I may be the most bootlegged artist in history," he told MTV News. "It's a preview. I'm excited for people to hear the album. I'm very proud of the work I've done, so enjoy it."
This actually is working in his favor, as he's been able to get early reviews and feedback before those nasty critics can get words churned out. "My pager is actually ringing right now, so people are probably calling me and telling me they pretty much like it," he explained. "I can tell by the way my pager rings if a song is good or not. It's really going crazy right now."
This conversation with MTV must have had some more legs to it, too. For those that want to hear the record before it hits the street but have reservations about being illegal, 'The Blueprint 3' is streaming as a part of MTV's The Leak series.
Now that you've had a chance to hear 'The Blueprint 3' we're left wondering: will you buy it? And do you still use a pager?
