D12 Members Denaun Porter and Kuniva Owe Back Taxes

Two members of Eminem's group D12 owe the government over $215,000, according their tax records, which recently appeared online.

The state of Michigan filed a $16,590 lien against Von "Kuniva" Carlisle and his wife in June, based upon income taxes they owe from 2008. The IRS also filed a $137,702.62 lien against the couple in January, for taxes owed from 2004 to 2006. Denaun Porter owes $61,501.99, according to a lien filed against him on May, 2008.

"I'm not questioning the IRS," Porter said. "It could have been a combination of not paying enough (taxes), it could have been them not accepting enough write-offs. Take my publishing checks. I'll make money elsewhere. I'm done with them at the end of the year."

Regardless of Kuniva and Porter's financial issues, Eminem contends that the group is doing well, and will be recording a new album shortly. "Me and the guys, we got a bond, it's special," Em said in a recent interview. "It's like, as far as the future of D12, we're gonna be back in the studio soon."
