Jay-Z's Original 'Blueprint 3' Release Date Moved to Sept. 8

It looks like Jay-Z, who said last week that he wasn't bothered by the premature leaking of his upcoming album, has changed his mind. Hov's latest opus, 'The Blueprint 3,' will now hit stores and online retailers on Sept. 8, three days earlier than it's original Sept. 11 release date, according to Rhapsody, Amazon and WEA's distribution Web site.

The reported news of the release date change may not affect Jay's fans considering at least five of the album's 15tracks can be heard on urban radio in major markets and the entire project has already been made available to the public on an array of digital downloading sites.

Jay-Z's reps have yet to comment on the recent change in release date.

In related news, Hov is still expected to rock New York's Madison Square Garden on Sept. 11 for his "Answer The Call" charity concert benefitting the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund. The concert will be televised live and commercial-free by FUSE.
