Chris Brown to Headline Michael Jackson Tribute

Chris Brown will head back to the stage for a tribute to his idol Michael Jackson in Vienna, Austria. Although the 20-year-old's rep has yet to confirm his appearance the singer is said to hit the stage alongside Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole, and Sister Sledge.

Jackson's older brother Jermaine is organizing the event, and explained Brown's adoration for the King of Pop during a press conference. "Michael was his idol and he [Brown] dedicated his first number one hit to Michael," Jermaine said. "Chris is a very, very talented artist." Jackson's band, which he was set to take on tour with him before his death, will also back the performers at the tribute concert.

Brown attended Jackson's memorial service at the Los Angeles Staples Center in July. Although he kept a low profile and sat away from television cameras, one photog managed to snap a shot of the 'Run It' singer.

This performance will be the first time Brown has officially hit the stage since his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February. The Virginia native was sentenced to five years probation, six months of community labor and must stay 100 yards away from Rihanna on a daily basis and 10 yards from her should they attend the same event.

During his time out of the limelight, Brown has been working on his forthcoming album 'Graffiti,' which he says is "the best album of [his] career."

Jackson's tribute concert will take place on Sept. 26.
