Kanye West Takes Another Stab at Apologizing to Taylor Swift

It appears as though Kanye West is really, really sorry for last night's rant against Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The producer/rapper posted an all-caps apology on his blog last night, which was eventually removed from the site. Now, Kanye has posted a second apology that sounds a bit more remorseful than Sunday's rambling blog entry.

"I feel like Ben Stiller in 'Meet the Parents' when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave," Kanye wrote today. "That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."

Swift was given another chance to properly accept her award for Best Female Video when Beyonce, the second subject of Kanye's rant, asked the 19-year-old country star to join her on stage. Kanye was reportedly long gone at this point. According to reports, 'Ye was asked to leave Radio City Music Hall after his tirade.

Mr. West, is but another example of the shameful role-models from the hip hop/rap community. The hip hop community appears to feed off racial issues and violence. In their music, they offend women, their community, and promote violence. It would be nice to see these supposed "musicians" attempt to educate the children listening to their "music" with lyrics that promote peace and non-violence. If they wish for there to be a change--it needs to begin with them and their "music" The only role-model these rappers are---are role-models of what children should not want to grow up and become. While they are driving around in their "Benz" some child is listening to their music thinking killing someone or abusing women or using drugs (smokin' their blunts) is a life to admire. Such a shame. It appears the downfall of the Black community will no longer be the fault of the white man--but the black man who promotes violence and disrespect within his own race. Thank you rappers, for getting the blame off my shoulders and putting it on your own.

Whats REALLY weird is how everyone is saying Beyonce is so classy like shes the Queen of England after she just got finished grinding her pelvis towards the audience (and kids that were watching this) with just 3/4s of an inch of fabric covering her p u s s y. Wow what a nation huh, condemn one person because they were drunk and made a public mistake and then praise another that PLANNED dressing like a stripper and grinding on a live show. Will NEVER understand this great country that i am a part of.

As you can tell by the photos that have come out he was probably really drunk and regrets what he did. Im not excusing it because if u know that many cameras are around and your at an event like that u should control ur drinking, but u know WE ALL make bad bad bad decisions when we are wasted. He is a person that has made money off his voice (and i dont mean vocals) so when u add liquor to that "freedom" mentallity its not gonna end up good. 4-6 months and itll be forgotten. Sure his sales will take a hit but if he makes some braindead beatdriven radio hits instead of his normal out of left field type songs then he'll be right back in the thick of things and people will be singing his lyrics.

It is pathetic what Kanye did!! Yippee he could blog a damn appology to bad he couldn't appologize on national television like he did humiliate. Sad thing is he humilatiated himself. He also mad the entire r&b and hip-hop world look bad by acting how he did. She is a 19 year-old girl, who has not only won country awards but now has a moon-man. Hell got to give the girl props! No offence to Beyonce I love her music and especially that song, but that video wasn't all that great. Seriously its like my brother said, all that happens are girls throwing their hands and shit in the air saying how the guy should have put a ring on it if he liked it so much. Taylor puts a ton of efforts in all her videos and they all come out amazing!!

Anyone who says this has nothing to do with race hasn't been listening as close to Kanye's remarks as much as his music. He himself played the race card during Katrina when he said on live TV that George Bush hates all black people. Kanye is indeed himself the very definition of a racist. I get tired of all the double standards that polite society plays with the race card issue. If the same thing happened and a Toby Keith or some other redneck performer had said during Beyonce's speach "Taylor deserved the moonman more", sh!t would have hit the fan big time. Al Sharpton and the "Reverend" Jessie would have been set up outside the awards ceremony before it was over calling for an all out ban on the culprit. So don't hand me the no race issue PLEASE.

As for Kanye, he has the right to his own opinion. He has freedom of speach to voice that opinion. He however had no right to steal anyone's spotlight. He does not deserved to be boycotted, even though that is each individuals personal decision. What he does need is a good a$$ whipping to teach him a lesson. How he has remained popular for this long is beyond me.

First off, this is not about race or whose music is good and what not. Kanye is a very talented artist, but he has no class what so ever. He needs to act like the grown ass man he is, instead of like an immature kid. Have some self control and respect for others, man! And alcohol is no excuse...and if that is how alcohol makes you act maybe you should lay off of it!

"most of us" It seems to me that the majority of the people felt like Taylor Swift should have that honor. Don't YOU go embarrassing Beyonce, too!

I don't really listen to a lot of music anymore, but I've always thought Beyonce was the real deal. Her mortification at Kanye's behavior proved it yet again. And her graciousness toward Taylor Swift was truly admirable.

Last night's actions showed one superlative role model and one bad example to show your kids how NOT to act.
