Lil Mama Apologizes for Crashing VMA Finale, Fabolous Tweets His Disapproval

As the entire world is now well aware, security at last night's MTV Video Music Awards could have probably done a better job keeping uninvited guests offstage. Following Kanye West's epic PR blunder with Taylor Swift, rapper and 'America's Best Dance Crew' judge Lil Mama still came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to randomly jump onstage for the tail end of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' finale performance of 'Empire State of Mind.'

"I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys," Lil Mama told MTV News after the show. "I admire them and look up to them as role models. 'Empire State of Mind' had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about New York."Following the show, #lilmamais became a top Twitter topic, with even Brooklyn rapper Fabolous sending off more than a few shots in the party crasher's direction. "#Lilmamais like the dude that parachutes down on the field during a game!" Fab tweeted, and "#Lilmamais fresh off hangin out wit Maia Campbell. #Lilmamais in a maybach trunk right now!! #Lilmamais the bird that flew outta Lady Gaga's nest on her face!!" Earlier this month Fab popped off at T-Pain, tweeting that the rapper "better stop singin in the fan... that aint talent we can all do that," insulting T-Pain's heavy use of auto-tune.

To bring it all full-circle, when Lil Mama made her logic-defying attempt to crash Jay and Alicia's performance, Jay attempted to push her away, reportedly asking "You gonna T-Pain me?" -- a knock at T-Pain's unexpected walk-on at a summer concert, where Jay-Z was debuting the new 'Blueprint 3' track "D.O.A." (Death of Auto-tune).

While the topic is hilarious, we can't help feel for Lil Mama. She has judged four seasons of 'America's Best Dance Crew' on the network, yet somehow has no concept of performance etiquette.

Jay-z needs to get off T-Pain. If that man wants to make music using Auto-tune, then that's his chose.
