50 Cent Says He Would've Given Kanye a Black Eye for VMA Stunt

Kanye West has done a lot of apologizing in the wake of "Taylorgate," but his critics continue to voice their opinions. From Kelly Clarkson to Katie Perry, the music community has almpst universally condemned the rapper/producer for his blunder at MTV's Video Music Awards, and now even rapper 50 Cent, who himself pulled a similar stunt at the 2004 Grammy Awards has jumped on board.

In an interview with Canadian music network MuchMusic, 50 addressed Kanye's incident, saying "We know Beyonce is great. You know that, like, there's nobody confused in that actual area. But Taylor Swift is great, and is new at that point. And you can't replace it and an apology can't replace what it feels like for the very first time, receiving that award. Now, in her head, 'My first award was Kanye West'. It's damaging, but, I wish he would come and take one of my awards, so I could black his eye! In front of everybody."

50 infamously took to the stage when he lost the Best New Artist Grammy Award to rock band Evanescance in 2004. Of course, 50 was a lot more diplomatic in his show of disappointment; he merely walked across the stage and smiled for the camera.

Would Kanye have cut in and snatched the mic, had the winner been a different artist? "You pick and choose who you feel safe doing that with," 50 argued, then demured. "He shouldn't worry about me, Pink was gonna get to him."

Kanye West is a racist and thats a well know fact in this business.A young white girl recieves an award an Kanye,drunk that he was felt that he'd give her something to remember alright..THE BUM!

I am Native American and I do not have a racist bone in my body but right now I would love to ship his sorry self to Africa or any other third world country of his choice!!!Boycot his music,let his Bank feel it then he'll understand that we the public are sick and tired of this kind of crap.Hurt him where he lives(his bank roll).I just hope that no other award show of any kind will have him.Kaye,grow the hell up!!!

I like 50 cent ,I am Native American and I think he tells it like hes lived it...As for Kanye West,never was a fan dang sure will never be one.This was all about his "blackness".It is a well know fact that Kanye,is a racist .Here's this young white girl getting an award that he thought she should not get(WHO CARES WHAT HE THINKS!!!!)so he upstaged her.It was not about anything else.A word to the wise you should never drink and drive on live TV. It's a career killer.Now he's gonna get a big taste of how we feel about that.Do not buy his music.When his bank feels it he'll know for sure that the public will not put up with his sorry self.

Kanye is a piece of crap. If I was Taylors dad who was apparently at the show, Kanye would be in the emergency room having that mic removed from his ass. He is such a punk. He would have never have done that to say Kid rock, or 50 cent, John Rich. He hates country music, and he is a puss. I hope he comes to Tampa sometime and hangs in one of the clubs I would love to see what kind of man he really is. Pick on girls, see if he can handle picking on a man. Funny how liberals and celebrities, are always sorry when they get caught, and they get forgiven. Conservative apologize and that is not enought. they must resign. So shoul Kayne.

I do not at all think the stage thing with Taylor Swift was set up, but Jay Leno said Kanye asked to talk before the song, that it was not planned. So Kanye appearently wanted to make his apology public, and after Taylor was on "The View" he called her up and did so as well. He sincerely spoke of making changes in his life, we can only hope he will. Jay, bringing up his mom, was a bit out of line but apearently it did Kanye some good to hear it.

50 is right though. He put it out there plain and simple...Kanye picked someone soft and non-threatening to do that to. That's what bullies do. This will make Miss swift, in Kanye's own words "Stronger"!!!...and that, my friends, is the last thing he will want to mess with.
Can you imagine him doing that to someone who would have struck back at him, took the mike back, resisted or actually clipped his a$$?? He'd not only have been floored, he'd have been on the floor.
