Maybe time does heal all wounds, or maybe the birth of a new baby does? Either way rapper Nas and ex-wife Kelis, who recently welcomed their first child, may be headed down the road to reconciliation. According to reports, the former couple was spotted getting extra close at a New York City nightclub Monday. The twosome arrived together at New York hot spot Marquee for a private party. The rumor mill is buzzing that several celebrities were in tow and reportedly saw the pair being much friendlier than in recent months. If the reports are true, this reunion is a far cry from their public battles since Kelis filed for divorce in April.
Nas was ordered to pay Kelis $44,000 per month in child and spousal support. A displeased Kelis retorted that the Queens-bred emcee brings home upwards of $200,000 per month compared to her $13,744. She is asking for over $400,000 in addition to the $44,000 per month.
Leading up to the birth of their newborn son, Knight Jones, Kelis took to her Twitter page to air out her frustrations over her dilapidated marriage. One particular post about cheaters alluded to a possible cause in the couple's dissolution. "This lovely day I would like to touch on cheaters," she wrote. "Why be cowardly, why not go after what you really want? Do people know what they want? Probably not, which just goes into know and respecting one's self. Also we can discuss whores, I mean the nasty, sub-par tricks that participate in the cheating. Well let me say this, both parties are gross. And in reality they deserve each other."
A judge will decide this month if Nas must increase his child and spousal support payments.

That's asking for a lot.. you gonna spend it on your ikds or you?? I get $423 a month in child support & i use it all for my daughter. Half goes into a savings account for her & the rest I use on her for whatever she needs. I'm not money hungry like that. i'm happy with what I get for my 7 1/2 yr old daighter now.

i think she should cause she is now taking care of that baby by herself you probably would not know how to be a single parent anyways i am a single parent myself and its hard when you dont get no help .

It used to be MTV. Before Micheal Jackson, MTV didn't play black artists(the owners publicly refused) so you had BET. You'll find that that's the case for most of the "blacks only" institutions in this country. They were created out of racism against blacks in the first place. Now, they just exist as businesses.

My ex husband was only ordered to pay $360 A MONTH, and the bastard quit his job that paid $30,000 a year (as if THAT were a lot of money to begin with) and now he makes not much more than minimum wage so that he doesn't have to pay as much money for our daughter and he lets his girlfriend (the same slut that broke up our marriage) support his sorry a**. sorry to hear that but 44k is ridiculs,too many women want too much money.360 a month is 20% of his pay after taxes,should he keep $360 a month and give you the rest instead?although its not right to make less just to pay less women and the courts cause this.why should he go out and try to make more?just so you can take it?if child support was based on what the child needs rather than just a chunk of a mans income (like $44,000 a month)you would see less problems,period.

this is in response to ( lori ) you claim men are scum maybe some are but c-mon 44,000 per month and she wants more. she admitted she makes over 13 grand a month herself why would she need more? I know why cause she is a money hungry skank. I pay child support myself when I started paying it I had a job paying almost 14 an hour so they charged me 964.83 per month, the job closed down and I had to take another for just 9 an hour I asked to get a decrease in my payments and what did I get now I pay 1014.11 per month and I only gross 1440.00 per month. take taxes from that it leaves me less than 100 per month for me to live on. So when you claim that men are scum remember maybe some are but most women are gold diggers who want more than they should get.....

Umm, she is insane! I was getting $100/wk in child support and then it just got dropped to $60/week. Is she for real?! It doesn't cost 44k to support your child ...maybe her high maintenance ass! =P
