Black Eyed Peas members Will.i.am and Fergie are being sued again. The two most visible members of the group have been hit with a new copyright infringement suit over a song entitled 'Voodoo Doll,' from Fergie's album, 'The Duchess.' The complainant, Grounded Music Inc. filed suit in California, claiming that Fergie and Will.i.am, who co-wrote 'Voodoo Doll,' stole from their song 'Waterfall,' from the album 'Each One Teach One,' by reggae group Groundation.
Grounded Music claim that Fergie's track "is substantially and strikingly similar" to 'Waterfall,' and are reportedly suing for an undisclosed amount. This marks the third lawsuit filed against the Black Eyed Peas this year. Earlier this month they were sued by a former employee, who claimed to have been injured during their 2007 'Black, Blue and You' tour. They were also sued in July by UK DJ Adam Freeland, who contends that the group stole portions of his song 'Mancry,' for the Peas track 'Party All the Time.'
Will.I.am was also notoriously accused of attacking gossiper Perez Hilton in July as well, but only his tour manager Polo Molina was charged in that incident.
