Yonkers rapper Styles P has announced plans to release a collaborative album with DJ Green Lantern titled 'The Green Ghost Project.' The album will feature guest appearances by Styles' fellow the Lox hip-hop trio members Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, as well as heavy hitters like M.O.P., N.O.R.E., Uncle Murda and Junior Reid. While the production will be handled in part by Green Lantern, who previously produced 'Holiday' on Styles' 2007 album 'Super Gangsta,' others manning the boards on the project include Alchemist, Scram Jones and Statik Selektah.
"Don't call me 'The Ghost' right now, call me 'The Green Ghost," quipped Styles. "It's a different display of talent. We got together and brainstormed about it and it came out crazy!"
"Styles and I got together and made a monster," Green agreed. The 'Green Ghost Project' will be released Nov. 17 via Invasion/The Orchard.
