Producer-turned-R&B artist Ryan Leslie seems to be "the one" artists turn to for records that top the charts. The Harvard graduate took to his Twitter late Monday night to announce news that a track he produced will be the next single off Mary J. Blige's forthcoming album, 'Stronger.' The record, 'Said & Done,' will take the place of 'Good Love,' featuring T.I., which was previously reported to be the album's second single. "Just heard that 'Said & Done,' produced and edited by yours truly, is Mary J's new single," Leslie tweeted. "Hard work pays off!"
Fans of R&B will be pleased with the track, which features the producer's signature keys and the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul's passionate lyrics, reminding a lover of their storied past together.
While the new single began bubbling on the Internet earlier this month, Mary's lead single, 'The One,' featuring Drake and produced by Rodney Jerkins, earned her a number 63 position on the Billboard Hot 100 this summer.
