T-Pain Apologizes to Jay-Z for Las Vegas Insult

T-Pain and Jay-z

Auto-tune king T-Pain wants no problems with Jay-Z, and he's gone out of his way to make that clear. Although Pain initially claimed to be a fan of Jay's 'D.O.A.' track, which called for the death of T-Pain's signature sound, the singer/producer called out Hov in a much discussed performance at Rehab in Las Vegas earlier this month. He claimed he felt slighted by the Brooklyn rapper's treatment of him during his Hot 97 Summer Jam performance on Sept. 17.

Now, T-Pain has recorded a freestyle apologizing to Jay-Z. The song, which is entitled 'More Careful,' was recorded over Drake and Trey Songz's 'Successful.'

"Aight, so let's talk about the Jay s---," Pain spits in the third verse. "Some days I wish that I ain't never say s---/ And Diddy said ain't no excuse for what I did/ But I felt like he was knocking the same s--- that feeds my kids/ I do music 'cause I need it to make my world spin/ So when you get down to it, it's like you dissing my girlfriend."

T-Pain finished the freestle by stating that he was not intending to diss the Brooklyn MC, nor discredit him in any way."But by all means, don't take this as a dis or hatin'/ I just wanna explain my side of the situation," T-Pain spits. "So if you knew how much respect that I have/ You'd know I'm a real n---a when I say, 'My bad.' "

"All's well that ends well," they say. Also, "Don't start none, won't be none," you decide which applies.
