Despite his legal obligations, singer Chris Brown will be adding another gig to his plate when he kicks off a nationwide tour. The 20-year-old took to his Twitter page to make the announcement. "'Bout to star a small tour soon," he wrote. "15 to 20 dates. My Fan Appreciation Tour. Just for ya'll. Nothing bigger than 4,000 seaters."Since kicking the year off with the negative publicity stemming from his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, Brown has been slowly getting his feet wet in the music pool. Aside from working on his forthcoming release, 'Graffiti,' the Virginia native will also headline the Power 105.1 'Powerhouse' music concert in New Jersey on Oct. 27.
The event will also feature performances from Keri Hilson, The Dream and Fabolous. Brown recently began his 180-day community labor sentence in Virginia and has been photographed picking up trash. Alongside a five-year probation sentence, he must also complete domestic violence classes.
'Graffiti' is due in stores later this year. The album's first single 'I Can Transform Ya' produced by Swizz Beatz and featuring Lil Wayne was released last month.
