Diddy Opens Up About Reconciliation With Mase

Sean "Diddy" Combs is proving that he can put the past behind him. The hip-hop mogul reunited with his former rap counterpart Mase, and is opening up about how the reconciliation went down. "We definitely reunited as friends. He called me and one day said he wanted to apologize for a lot of things we had been through," Diddy said in an interview. "I totally accepted his apology. A lot of people didn't understand the hold-up with his contract and everything is that he decided to break out and become a preacher.." Diddy stated that although he hasn't been to Mase's church, he has seen him on television. "God bless Mase!"

Although there's no word on whether or not the two will start doing music together, both are facing new facets in their careers. Mase announced his return to music earlier this year and is said to be working on a new album. Diddy recently cut ties with Warner Music Group, although his Bad Boy Records imprint will remain on the label. "Now that the term of the Warner deal has ended, I have elected to accept an opportunity to move my recording career and future label venture to another company," he said in a statement. Diddy's new record deal is with Interscope Records, which will release his forthcoming album 'Last Train To Paris.'
