Diddy Wants to Work With The LOX Again, Hell Freezes Over

As Diddy moves further into the electronic/dance world with his own music, his taste in rap has never been so street. In September, he hosted Raekwon's album release party, now he's talking about re-signing the L.O.X., a group whose music couldn't be further from his, stylistically, and who have had a public beef with him since he allegedly jerked them, back when they were signed to Bad Boy the first time.

"I would definitely love to do the next LOX album," Puff told MTV recently. "I would love to collaborate with them. I think it's important just to do. ... I would look forward to it."

While the trio of Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch have been open critics of Puffy's business practices in the past, they seem to have put their problems behind them.

"Now the smoke is clear; we ain't got no problems with Puff and he's making gestures at us, talking with our lawyers and tryna make something happen," Sheek said, in a recent interview about the possibility of working with Puffy again. "I have no problem going over there with Puff. We're grown now, he gave us our publishing back, which he did not have to do. It may be a great thing."

The Yonkers trio, who haven't released an album under the L.O.X. name in almost 10 years, seem ready to return to the fold, especially now that Puffy has brought Bad Boy to Interscope.

"We been talking about it," Diddy explained. "We have to sit down and have a real meeting about it."

Let's hope the shiny suits stay in the closet this time around.
