College rapper Asher Roth tweeted about President Obama's recent award, "Didn't know you could win the peace prize by just talking s---." He then clarified, saying "I'm all for "hope" and "progress" but people have been dedicating their lives for peace - actions speak louder than words - my opinion only." Drake described his struggle, as he attempts to write his highly-anticipated rap album about an MC on the come-up, "I can't rap about the same things [as I did] on 'So Far Gone,' so it's just really trying to tell the greatest story that's never been told, which is the story of a rapper's come-up, and tell it without being corny or over bragging or sounding like, 'Feel sorry for me.'" Harry Connick Jr. had to judge a blackface contest of some sort in Australia, and he was appropriately taken aback, however his response didn't really help matters. "I just want to say, on behalf of my country, I know it was done humorously, but we've spent so much time trying to not make black people look like buffoons, that when we see something like that we take it really to heart." Well, I like Asher Roth lil college song and all. CD was mediocre. Well as a college student he has every right to be critical of Obama as we all do. Obama want be able to fix this atrocity until many of his adversaries back up and let his straties play out. We can't see it now but when this man leaves, we will be a better place.
