Chris Brown 'Fan Appreciation' Tour Confirmed

While Chris Brown's third album 'Graffiti' sports no official release date just yet, Jive confirmed today that the R&B singer will embark on his first solo tour since his February altercation with former girlfriend Rihanna. Dubbed the 'Fan Appreciation' Tour, Brown leaked the now-official tour news earlier this month via Twitter. The month-long trek, "conceptualized for and with 'fans only' in mind" according to Brown's label, will take Brown to intimate venues across 19 cities, beginning with the House of Blues in Houston, Texas on Nov. 14.

The tour is Brown's attempt to "acknowledge and thank his fans for their ongoing support," the label said. In August, Brown was sentenced to five years probation and community service for his assault on Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles. In lieu of his violent past, some proceeds from the 'Fan Appreciation' Tour will go towards the Jenesse Center, a domestic violence intervention charity, as well as Best Buddies International, which helps people with developmental disabilities build relationships and jobs.

Earlier today Rihanna released 'Russian Roulette' -- the first single from her new album, titled 'Rated R,' due Nov. 23. Doesn't seem like a day when both Chris Brown and Rihanna aren't making headlines is coming anytime soon.
