Jay-Z Makes World Series Prediction, Calls Himself 'Jigga the Greek'

Jay-ZIt was all fun and games -- literally -- at the Plaza Hotel today (October 26). A select group of journalists were invited to chat with Jay-Z about his role on the soundtrack for the Renegade Edition of DJ Hero. But things got serious, sort of, when Jay -- who, along with Alicia Keys will perform his 'Blueprint 3' hit 'Empire State of Mind' at the World Series opener -- was asked to weigh in on the World Series.

"I actually predicted Yankees in six," Jay-Z told the BoomBox of his team's American Conference League Series win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. "So, I'm like Jigga the Greek," he joked. Donning his signature New York Yankees baseball cap, Jay went on to give his official World Series prediction: "I'm gonna take the Yankees in seven ... Dramatic A-Rod walk off at the end of the game, redeeming him for all the times the paper and media vilified him and... that's specific enough?"

Let's hope, for the sake of the Yanks and their hardcore fans, that the Brooklynite didn't jinx his team.

The World Series kicks off on October 28 at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y.

I didn't think rap has been around long enough for anyone to be considered a legend.
