Young soul singer Joss Stone is not a Lily Allen fan. Stone said of her fellow Brit, "She needs to sell records because she's not a singer, and that's not an offense to her because I think that she knows that too. DJ Webstar, who made his name via his "Chicken Noodle Soup" song, discussed auto-tune, Jay-Z, and being disrespected as a yougn artist, "Being young in the game it's hard to get respect. The veterans don't respect the new generation. You got to pay your dues and put your work in, which is so true, but I was just so mad because I had one of the hottest records at the time [and] it was in AutoTune. Jim Jones was a part of it and Dame Dash also helped on my deal, so I was just feeling like maybe he [Jay-Z] was throwing a shot at me and [Ron] Browz just to get to them." Sorry Webstar, when we think back on this decade, no one's ever going to say, "Man, I miss auto-tune and that 'Chicken Noodle Soup' song" [XXL]

Rihanna discussed her new album, saying, "It's rock 'n' roll, but it's really hip-hop: If Lil Wayne and Kings of Leon like my album, then I'll feel good." Which is basically like saying "If the stoned dude on the corner and a random rock band like my cooking, then I'm Martha Stewart." These dudes are not that discerning, just saying. [Bossip]
