Coolio Takes DMX's Spot in Upcoming Fight

Looks like all is not lost for Thunder Promotions, the company behind the recently canceled DMX vs. Eric Martinez celebrity boxing match. According to TMZ, Coolio will replace DMX and face off against Martinez. X pulled out of the event last week after he allegedly asked the promoters to "fix" the fight. The rapper has since denied requesting a guaranteed victory.

Coolio reportedly jumped at the chance to battle it out with Martinez in Alabama on Dec. 12. According to TMZ, the 46-year-old rapper "is going to take this seriously" unlike X, who admitted he planned on going in the ring with no training or practice.

I'm glad I looked up this article.
