Gucci Mane Sentenced to a Year in Prison

According to reports, Gucci Mane -- who was incarcerated this time last year -- was sentenced to 12 months in prison on Thursday (Nov. 12) for violating his probation, stemming from a 2005 assault charge. Mr. "Burr" was taken directly to prison following his sentence.

Gucci's upcoming album, The State Vs. Radrick Davis, drops on Dec. 8. Unfortunately, he won't be able to celebrate the release on the outside.

On the bright side, Gucci could be released in six months.
