Raekwon and Sean Price, two of hip-hop's most visceral wordsmiths, are getting together to rock some shows. Rae, still maintaining the heat from 'Only Built For Cuban Linx II,' has been on the road since his record's early September release, while Price has joined the Chef for the tour's East Coast leg. The two began their series of lyrical workouts on Nov. 6 in Providence and hit various hotspots from Connecticut to Philly over the past few nights. Both acts will perform in Baltimore over the next two evenings.
Price is also prepping the release of 'Mic Tyson' -- a long-awaited third solo record. Earlier this year, the MC received rave reviews for a mixtape entitled 'Kimbo Price (A Prelude to Mic Tyson).' The tape raised anticipation as Price, a member of the Boot Camp Clik, showcased his unique brand of hard lyrical dexterity mixed with trademark humor.
If you can't make it out to Price's shows with Raekwon, look out for him on the new record and another forthcoming collaboration with underground icons Guilty Simpson and Black Milk under the name Random Axe. In the meantime, the MC is sticking to his self-proclaimed moniker as "the brokest rapper you know."
