Beanie Sigel Predicts Jay-Z Retaliation on 'Empire State of Mind' Remix

It usually takes two to battle but if your enemy won't do the dirty dance with you, there's also the option of fanning the flames alone. Despite his pointed declaration that he's not 50 Cent's "pawn," Beanie Sigel must eventually admit that he's learned the rules of stirring up the pot from 50. Although Jay-Z has failed to respond to any of his recent disses, Beans continues to push forward with his anti-Hova campaign, calling for a response and now trying to call out Jay's next move.

During his most recent tirade, which took place during a radio interview with DJ On&On, Beanie told listeners that Jay-Z would finally answer his call for war by enlisting Nas' help on the upcoming remix for 'Empire State of Mind.' According to Sigel, this is Jay's next calculated move to come out on top. "I credit him for the moves he make but I'm nice at chess, too. They say he got a record [that's] supposed to come out, the remix to that 'New York' shit. He poppin' shots at me. He poppin' shots at 50. But, he put Nas on the record hoping that a n---- will respond to it and come at Nas," Beanie said. "Nas gon' come right back. He's not gonna hold no punches. He's gon' come right back. He should come right back, but look at the moves. I seen it."

In case Beanie's prediction is in fact correct, the Philly rapper also decided to make it clear that Nas poses no threat to him, citing his involvement in the previous Nas/Jay-Z feud as evidence. "I'm not worried about Nas. I did that, already," Beanie said. "I did that already, in defense of [Jay]. I was there when dude was in the studio, on the couch, scratching his head under pressure."

After a few other shots, which included accusing Jay of stealing his ideas for use on the 'American Gangster' album, Beanie said that the bad blood could only be resolved in the eyes of the public. "It'll be over but our face to face conversation gotta be televised because the public wanna know," he said. "They deserve to know. The people wanna know. You gotta understand, there was people across the world that were putting up that dynasty sign, who believed in that Roc La Familia."
