Beyonce -- and her alter-ego Sasha -- proved how truly fierce she is when she snagged 10 Grammy Award nominations including Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Album of the Year for her third solo album 'I Am ... Sasha Fierce.'Country-pop star Taylor Swift follows Beyonce with eight nods and shock-pop singer Lady Gaga -- who due to a technicality cold not be considered in the Best New Artist category despite her recent success -- will go head to with both Swift and Bey in the top categories.
While Beyonce is set to be the queen of the night when the 52nd annual Grammy Awards airs live on CBS from Los Angeles' Staples Center Jan. 31, her hubby Jay-Z, newcomers Drake and Kid Cudi, Eminem, Keri Hilson and Maxwell were recognized. Jay, Drake, Cudi and T.I. will compete for Best Rap Song, with both Hova's 'Run This Town' and 'D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)' being considered in the category.
