Drake Confirms Jay-Z, Kanye West Set to Appear on 'Thank Me Later'

Despite the fact that he still hasn't released his first official album, Drake is currently soaking up the glory of receiving his first two Grammy nods for his single "Best I Ever Had." During the Grammy nominations concert on Wednesday, the Toronto MC expressed his surprise at being considered for the coveted award but also confirmed that his upcoming album 'Thank Me Later,' would be pushed back to a March 2010 release. "I'm making progress on it," Drake said on Wednesday. "I'm hoping for March now. It's just pulling everybody together: I had a wish list for my managers of everybody I wanted involved that stem beyond hip-hop. I'm trying to pull it all together."

That particular wish list includes Jay-Z and Kanye West who are already scheduled to appear on the album, but Drake continued on to mention that he was actively working on enlisting the talents of one specific songstress for a guest appearance. "I'm really trying to work with Sade," he revealed. "Lil Wayne will be on it. Young Jeezy, Jay-Z, Kanye will be doing work on it. It's in the family."

Though a collaboration with Sade might be a few years in the making, Drake still described the upcoming album to MTV News as "colorful" and explained that the lead song "Fireworks" was the perfect way to kick off the album. "I get asked so many questions. Due to press people around, I have to deflect them. It's like when you put in the CD, all your questions are answered right away," he said. "It's a great, triumphant record right away. That opens up the scheme, and from there, hopefully, it's a colorful journey for everybody."
