Stephen Colbert Shows Rap Skills on 'Empire State of Mind Part 2'

Comedian Stephen Colbert never ceases to amaze us. This time around the political satirist showed off his rapping skills alongside Alicia Keys in a performance of her song 'Empire State of Mind Part 2,' a follow-up version to her successful single with Jay-Z. Dressed in what we can only assume is his idea of "hip-hop clothing" (a hoodie underneath his suit) Colbert stepped to Keys' piano with his mic in hand and clearly ready to get down to business. Instead of merely focusing life in the city that never sleeps, Colbert chose to describe the joys of living in his 'hood: a gated community in Connecticut. Surprisingly, his flow isn't nearly as bad, or as awkward as one might assume. Check out the video below.
