Kanye West's 'Late Registration' was one of the lusher hip-hop records of the aughties and one of its highlights was the Game-featuring track 'Crack Music.' Consequence, an artist on Ye's G.O.O.D. music imprint, dropped a little trivia bomb while in the studio with Diddy: 'Crack Music' originally belonged to Bad Boy Record founder. "Here's a fun fact for you," said Consequence on his Cons TV YouTube show. "Puff Daddy inspired 'Crack Music' from 'Late Registration." Originally slated to appear on his 'Press Play' record, Combs let the track go because it apparently suited Kanye's style a little better. Good call, Puff. "I gotta keep it one hundred," Consequence continued. "Shout-outs to my brother Ye. You already know how we do."
"That right there is off of 'Press Play,'" continued Diddy. "But you know I ain't gonna lie, that was better for Ye's album. They hit that 'Crack Music' and that was woo.
