G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks is reportedly being held in Ontario, Canada for assault and robbery. The rapper and three members of his entourage have been charged with assaulting a local promoter after Banks performed at Club NV in Blandford, Ontario, Friday night. According to local police, Banks and his crew confronted the promoter at a hotel regarding Banks' performance fee. The promoter claims that he was then held by the four men in his hotel room, where he was assaulted and robbed. Banks and the other three have all been charged with aggravated assault, forceful confinement and robbery.
All four men made a court appearance today, and will return to court again later this week. They remain in police custody until that time.
Reps for banks and G-Unit have yet to make a statement regarding the charges.
