Platinum-selling Neptunes producer Pharrell Williams is reportedly composing an orchestral score for the animated film 'Despicable Me.'
The N.E.R.D. member wrote the title song for the film, which can be heard towards the end of the trailer here. The score will be composed by Pharrell, with help from legendary composer Hans Zimmer.
"I love cartoons and animation and I've never seen such incredible 3D CGI," Williams said regarding the film. "To score 'Despicable Me' along with Hans and Heitor and write original songs for the film is a dream come true."The film also features the vocal talents of actors Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett and Danny McBride. 'Despicable Me' is scheduled to hit theaters on July 9, 2010.
