Lloyd Banks is finally making his way back to America after being detained by Canadian immigration officials. Last week, Banks was arrested for allegedly assaulting and robbing Canadian promoter, Chris Hines, on Friday (Jan. 8) and has been held in the country ever since. The altercation came after Banks' performance at Club NV in Blanford, Ontario. The Queens native and his three associates approached Hines in regards to his performance fee. Hines alleges that the men held him in a hotel room and attacked him. "There's a little more to the story, like I said, I don't want to get into it too much," Hines said. "[Banks] was paid in advance. We got into a confrontation. Of course, they assaulted me and kept me there for a little while. It was probably, like, for 20 minutes, 30 minutes. They had me there for quite some time ... Like, I worked for the guys for years and I don't really know what the f--- they were thinking. If they were watching a movie earlier, I don't know what that's about. The whole incident that night had nothing to do with me, and everybody knows that."
Banks and his group were arrested and charged with criminal confinement, aggravated assault and robbery. The G-Unit member was released after posting $50,000 bail before being held by immigration officials. However, one of his associates, Nicklas Sloane, remains in custody.
