According to reports, UGK rapper Bun B will be hosting a benefit concert for victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The concert, dubbed 'Houston for Haiti,' will take place at the Warehouse Live in Houston, Texas, starting at 4PM. Confirmed guests include fellow Texas heroes Slim Thug, Trae the Truth, ESG, Lil O, Candi Redd, Just Brittany, Corey Mo and The Party Boyz. Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young will also be on hand and more names are promised to be added to the roster. Tickets are available here. All proceeds go to the Haiti relief fund, via Care, a humanitarian organization that delivers aid to survivors of war and natural disasters.
Many other members of the hip-hop community have stepped up to contribute aid to the Haiti relief fund, including Wyclef Jean, who has raised more than $2 million towards the relief effort.
"We all need to get involved," Bun B said in a statement. "Race, color or creed, we are all Haitians right now, and we need to help our brothers and sisters!"
