Christina Milian Sued By Neighbor After Dog Attack

Christina Milian and her family have been hit with a lawsuit from an 81-year-old neighbor who claims that he was brutally attacked by one of their dogs in 2008. Leo Skolion, who brought the lawsuit against Christina, her mother Carmen and sister Danielle in an L.A. County Superior Court earlier this month, claims that he was left with "severe personal injuries" following the attack.

Skolion said that he approached the family to speak with them about repairing a damaged gate separating the properties, when the dog attacked him from behind and took "a hung chunk" out of his arm.

According to TMZ, Skolion claims that after 19 stitches and nine months of rehabilitation, he still needs psychiatric counseling to keep his fear and depression at bay. The 81-year-old is suing the family for an unspecified amount to cover expenses for physical and mental damage.

Christian Milian is currently at work on her upcoming album 'Elope,' which will be produced by her husband, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. She is expecting her first child in February.

I guess most of you are not homeowners. The insurance on her home will pay for this. The reason why the guy has to sue is that the insurance companies will only pay a small amount, then if he thinks he deserves more, he has to sue her insurance company. I bet that if you research this further, you'll find that he's suing her insurance company and not her personally.
Must be a slow news day today.

THEY PROBALY DEFAULTED ON THEIR HOME INSURANCE, THATS WHY THE GUY HAS TO SUE THEIR ASSES. HE PROBALY WOULD HAVE SETTLED FOR THE MAX INSURANCE WOULD ALLOW, BUT NOW BECAUSE THEIR GHETTO ASSES IGNORE HIM.. HE HAS TO SUE.

If the dog attacked from behind, and he was asking about the gate, it sounds as if he had gone onto their property, if he was invited then they should be responsible, if he came into their yard, uninvited and was bitten, then they seem to have done what they needed by law to protect themselves, they have their animals contained within a fence, he came into their territory, I wouldn't think he would be able to sue in that case.

Some people are really naive. He waits 2 years because he's trying to avoid legal fee's, Really people? Is it just a coincident that he waits to sue after she released her Bring It On movie, and is filming a second movie? I think not. He just wanted to wait for her to start working again so he can get even more money. We don't even know the whole story. If it was a brutal attack and a huge (not hung) chunk was taken out of his arm then why isn't the police report mentioned in the story. Police reports are accessible to the public. He could have been cursing her out we don't know the whole story. We just know some guy is claiming he was attacked, decides to wait 2 years to do anything, coincidentally he doesnt file until she starts bringing in the money again, and there's no mention of a police report. Sounds like an open and shut case of a man wanting an easy way to make a buck.

This guy is getting counseling because he got bit by a dog?! SERIOUSLY??! He is depressed because the neighbor's dog overeacted?? The dog was probably taken by surprise, he probably hadn't seen the neighbor approach the family. When he did notice he probably was just trying to protect the family, with no intention to actually hurt the neighbor. The neighbor acts like the family set the dog on them and laughed at his pain, but that clearly did not happen.
