Singer Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beatz are reportedly engaged, and have purchased a penthouse apartment to celebrate. According to US Magazine, the singer was given a seven-carat engagement ring for her 29th birthday from Swizz on Monday. Meanwhile, MTV has reported that the couple have bought the penthouse apartment owned by rocker Lenny Kravitz, for $14.5 Million. A source close to Kravitz has confirmed the sale of the huge penthouse duplex apartment in Manhattan, which was previously rented from Kravitz by Nicole Kidman and Denzel Washington. The building boasts celebrity tenants Courtney Love and Liv Tyler.
Keys and Swizz have been romantically linked for well over a year, but only confirmed their relationship this past May, much to the dismay of Swizz's ex, singer Mashonda, with whom he has a son. The happy couple are currently relaxing in Hawaii, celebrating Keys' birthday.
