Tupac was shot on the Las Vegas strip in September of 1996, while his rival, Biggie, was gunned down six months later in the March of 1997. Since then, Biggie and 2Pac's deaths have been scrutinized and investigated for well over a decade, yet very little hard evidence has ever been revealed, and no charges have been made in either murder.
'Famous Crime Scenes' will attempt to shed some light on the circumstances that lead up to their untimely deaths, depicting recreations of the events and some of the more technical aspects of the investigation, including ballistics, DNA evidence and toxicology reports. The show marks a new kind of programming for VH1, who is launching nine new shows. Other subjects in the series include artists like Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Selena and John Lennon.. 'Famous Crime Scenes' debuts on February 12 on VH1.
